Absolutely fabulous time! The night staff was very friendly. The host Trin gave all the right recommendations. Iris our server was so attentive and enjoyable. The drinks were so tasty and delicious. The food was great. We enjoyed so much we went back for breakfast. AM staff Kristin was as sweet as the cinnamon roll!
I wanted to like this place a lot. Cool decor. Nice vibe. Ordered the fish sandwich on a brioche bun. Not bad and not good. The bun and fish easily broke apart. Had to resort to eating my sandwich with a fork. May eat here again and I suspect I'll have a better experience.
We had the best brunch at Local Jones! Our bartenders Rick and Salim made the experience so fun. The food and drinks were incredible. Rick made a point to thank us for choosing them, with the numerous other choices in the area. A wonderful end to our weekend in Cherry Creek. We will be back!
The chicken schnitzel, pancakes, and cinnamon bun were absolutely divine! Super fun and chic brunch spot in Cherry Creek. Love the interior design of this restaurant and bar vibes.
I absolutely love this place! I come way too often. It’s honestly become a part of my identity at this point. The food is amazing and the staff is so nice and always goes above and beyond to make my experience memorable. I would give this place 10 out of 5 stars if I could. Local Jones has become my #1 favorite restaurant in Denver hands down. This is my go-to place for anything and everything. If you’re looking for a new spot for brunch, dinner, happy hour, or really anything at all - this is it. You’ve found it.
Being new in town, we stopped by Local Jones hoping to grab lunch. However, we were surprised to learn, and to be fair we may not have done enough research, that they only had a happy hour going with a few small bite options. We had the happy hour red wine, and the cheeseboard. The wine was just fine, a little earthy based on personal preference, but just fine for the price. However the cheeseboard was absolutely tiny. For $15, I would have expected something far more substantial. Additionally, our waiter was very friendly, however the service really left something to be desired, as though the restaurant was nearly empty it took a long time to get orders in and out, and they did not seem to be well versed in the menu. Local Jones does certainly get points for their atmosphere though, as this is very well designed, and decorated nicely with a formal dining area, a nice bar, a couch area, and a bar adjacent area with comfy seating. Overall, for the price and the experience we had, I probably would not return here. However maybe during the actual prescribed lunch hour the experience would have been better.
Service was great! We called and they were able to accommodate us within an hour, which is great considering it was a busy Friday night. We ordered the beef tartare, french onion soup, fries, a pasta, a dessert to share and a couple of drinks. Local Jones was third on our list for cocktail bars to check out. The other places did not have a spot for two so we resorted to Local Jones. It was meant to be and we were so happy! We sat in the lounge area and loved the mid-century modern atmosphere. We each had a cocktail and shared the beet hummus plate. The plate was elegantly presented with pita and radishes and the hummus was delicious. We really enjoyed our time in the lounge, didn't feel at all like the other sterile, bougie spots in Cherry Creek. We will definitely be returning and look forward to trying the brunch as well as bringing out of town guests.
The food deserves five stars but the service is the reason why you should not go to this place. They will make you feel incredibly rushed and not attended to. Nobody stopped at our table after dropping off our food to check in on us but asked us if we were ready to leave 4 times so they could use our table. Breakfast was $40 a person and would have been worth it if someone came by to refill our waters at least once. I wish I could go back to this place, but would encourage you to go to another place in cherry creek
Solid breakfast and coffee. Little on the spendy side but pretty standard for cherry Creek. Good choice for a business meeting.Food: 5/5
