At Crossroads, you will find a wonderful doctor who is concerned and caring, attentive to your needs, and thinks with a holistic approach.

However you will also have billing issues where they will lose the payment you mailed in and charge you different prices for what appears to be the same appointment.

You will have appointments made that you did not request. And you will have appointments canceled because you did not confirm the appointment you never requested.

You will not be able to get a hold of anybody during the day because the phone line will go to voicemail. You will not have any voice mails returned. You will actually learn to not expect a call to be returned.

You will have to ask specifically for paperwork, even though you were told it would be provided to you.

You will have your doctor changed out on you when you arrive for your appointment without warning. You will have your doctor go on vacation and it take 2-3 weeks to get in touch with somebody to reschedule.

I love PA Conti. And I wish I could see her but whatever systems have been implemented by the front office make setting up an appointment more annoying than being sick in the first place. There is a very good chance I'll be leaving the practice due to this, which makes me extremely sad.

Dr. Desai is a wonderful doctor and I would keep her if I could but United Health Care Compass Plan removed this practice from their list. I found the billing office uncooperative in correcting miscoded procedures even when the insurance company requested corrections, causing me to be billed for my physical which they had repeatedly told me that there was no charge for.

My initial visit was great and would give the PA a 5-star review. He was professional, listened, and was quite personable. He agreed to address my immediate health concerns rather than insisting on doing a physical which the practice wants patients to have on their first visit. My personal experience using the the patient portal was below average. I requested to schedule a physical and the response back was my physical was completed. Not sure how they came up with this as there were no results. I called the front desk to schedule one and it was the same response. After I insisted that no physical was done and asked if I could speak with the PA, they were not sure he could call me back. She basically said I could come up for a follow up visit but it wouldn't be a physical since they billed for it already.  They didn't offer to look into the results that weren't documented. This individual in billing demonstrated black and white thinking, couldn't think critically and didn't acknowledge a mistake had been made. I had to request for her to speak with the PA and call me back, which she did and it turned out that she was mistaken although she still did not own up to it. People like her really ruin the reputation of the medical practice. While the PA was great, watch out for the disorganized individuals in billing!

Have been seen by Dr. Cheryl Leonardi's staff for many years. Melissa Conti, PA, is my fave(if I had to pick one!). She is on top of everything and has taken very good care of me over the years. I recommend her to all my friends and they love her, too. It's an all female staff, but open to men, as well. Professional, courteous, pleasant, run on time, no complaints!
