Story

PTA Goals

Your membership is important to your child’s education. The Ellicott Mills PTA brings together all Ellicott Mills communities and blends families, experiences, traditions, and expectations to ensure a productive, successful school year. In support of this, the PTA:

Fosters a sense of community between the school and across all Ellicott Mills neighborhoods where students, staff, and families participate and contribute.

Supports the Ellicott Mills School Staff in providing an outstanding education for our children.

Promotes an environment where students, staff and families are valued.

National PTA Goals
To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship.

To raise the standards of whole life.

To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages, mental, social, and spiritual education.
