WORKING AT CROWN LINEN, LLC (Orlando, FL): Negative, Unprofessional, Unethical Environment *Please take the time to read this review to its entirety, for this may be an investment in your future. I wish that I had done a more thorough research or had been warned before I applied / interviewed........ They currently have a location in Miami, FL and in Orlando,FL (Brokerage Drive), and are planning on opening another location in Haines City, FL....The following post is pertaining to MY experience at the Orlando, FL location, yet keep in mind that the Orlando, FL personnel are going to be very involved in the Haines City location / all three locations involve the same personnel and same company culture. Please do not waste your time applying nor working for this company. They are truly unprofessional, unjust, ruthless, callous, rude, and unethical as individuals and as a company; especially the office staff, such as the general manager, and also the payroll and human resources personnel. They have no sense of or comprehension of privacy or confidentiality. They will discussion personal HR or payroll matters in the reception area or in their offices with their doors WIDELY open, and at times with another member of management sitting in their office (I've personally been a victim of this). I've witnessed this lack of privacy / confidentiality exercised on other employees on SEVERAL occasions. I've very recently witnessed the HR Manager LOUDLY discussing personal matters with an employee, over the phone, with her door WIDELY open. There may be a couple of truly genuine and kind production managers, yet it's difficult to tell who's real or genuine at that place, therefore that's up in the air. If you do decide to work for this company, your experience there may be quite deceptive and SURREAL. You'll be AMAZED by the things that you may witness with your own eyes and ears. There is an utter lack of respect for subordinates AND colleagues. The *General Manager is a crazed control freak, who likes to meddle in any and everything. He will appear as kind and concerned (they all will), but don't be fooled, this is a trick to get you to trust them and divulge information that they WILL later use against you or throw back in your face. The HR ASSISTANT / Payroll person is an undercover/sneaky/slithering snake with a fake smile. She's on her way to another location soon, but who knows what the next HR Assistant will be like (negative company culture). The HR Generalist / Manager is an outright rude/ghetto, unprofessional person, who can care less about assisting the employees or ACTUALLY WORKING (in fact, they couldn't both care less). The HR Assistant / Payroll person and the HR Manager spend AT LEAST 80% to 90% of their supposed "working hours" (getting paid) in each other's offices gossiping and bad-mouthing employees/colleagues or discussing non-work related subjects or doing non-work related things. They choose to do this, instead of assisting employees, whether they're waiting in the reception area or on the phone. These women and also other members of management, including office staff or members of management even have the audacity to at times LOUDLY speak ill of other employees/staff members, for them to hear. Don't waste your time leaving a voicemail message, for you may or may NOT receive a call back. If you do, it will indeed be at their CONVENIENCE. This of course, is all my own interpretation of what went on, but I know what I saw. This posting / comment is in relation to the CURRENT staff. I don't know whether or not this kind of operation will change, for from my understanding, it's been like this for a few years. I honestly believe that they may all be on their way OUT, and I'm not referring to transfers nor promotions. Who knows, for this kind of conduct and manner of operating business may be part of a supported and accepted company culture. As I mentioned above, I wish that I had done a more thorough research and/or had been warned......YOU'VE BEEN OFFICIALLY WARNED!!!
