Nice location and beach area. Unfortunately, the facilities seem to be run down. Bathrooms weren't in great shape, store had little to offer. The ladies working in the front office weren't very friendly or helpful. I did like the woodsy setting and there was a very kind man who would come clean up sites for the next campers. If they can improve on somethings, I think it could be a very nice campground. The location is great being so close to Pentwater.

Not my kind of camping... no grass to be found. Very small lot. The water was yellow, even with the water filter. I didn't even like to wash dishes in it. The people we talked to were very friendly and the park was kept clean. We were parked next to a Seasonal .  They were extremely loud all the way up to 11 o'clock...very rude. We will not stay here again.

Friendly staff, extremely helpful. The grounds are so quiet and the other campers tend to be so friendly.

The good news is the entire campground is very well shaded; probably the best of any I have been to. 
The downside is that the sites are rather small and close together.  Not a big deal,  but I prefer a little more privacy.  The showers and bathrooms are nothing special,  but neither were they as bad as some have indicated.  The hosts seemed to be very nice people. I would definitely consider this place again.
