Got the try tip sandwich and it was amazing! Melts in your mouth it’s so good! And the spicy sauce has some! Ryan helped us out tremendously and was amazing! Even gave us free desserts since it was our first time. 10/10! Best sandwich place!
I love Cubby’s! And I’ve always had a good experience, except today. I was not happy to pay so much for a salad that wasn’t edible. The lettuce was brown and smelled so bad.
I was excited to try the Houdini Burger and sweet potato fries. I asked for no greens and I got a sandwich full of greens and only 1 small little mushroom piece . The hamburger flavor was ok but dry. I feel for $18 and some change they should have better quality and service. I ate one fry right after she handed me my bag and they weren't even warm cold fries right off. What a disappointment this place was.
I love Cubby’s Houdini burger and fries, but NOT the last two times I’ve been here. My meat has been dry, the bacon was burnt, there is barely any mayonnaise, the fries were overly cooked and not fresh I can just tell. I wish you guys were consistent in making good food. Especially since I’m paying $11 for a burger.
This place is seriously amazing!! Our salads were so fresh and delightful and just full of life. Our fries were also very fresh and crispy and had great taste. The service was amazing and the employees were so kind and prompt with our order. It was 100% correct as well with all utensils and napkins. My two year old got a kids meal that was max and cheese and I said is it good and he said oh it’s delightful. Thank you Cubby’s fort union you are the best! Shout to Kami for these amazing salads
Tried the new “Bender bowl”. I was served one scoop of brown rice, a spoonful of beans, and a scant amount of veggies. I just don’t feel this is worth $8. I could get so much more food for this price at any other fast casual restaurant. It fills 1/3 of this carton it’s served in for to-go. Nevertheless, they have fresh ingredients. I’m going to go home and add some greens to make it more substantial.
Cubby’s never ceases to disappoint. Several months ago, I waited for over 30 min at the drive thru window while my food was made. Finally decided to give them another shot today. My pickup time was over 15 minutes ago. We’ll see how long I wait. Guy next to me just got his pickup order, over 25 minutes after the time. Cubby’s has two major issues - quality control portions are always a crapshoot and time. They are consistently understaffed and under trained. A shame, as the concept and food when prepared correctly is great. Unfortunately, this was their last chance. Not coming back. Update: they also forgot tomatoes and cilantro on my salad
Cubbys makes a decent burger. Does it compare to other restaurants for the same price? I’m not sure. It has a great selection of burgers but I feel that there are usually other burger joints I prefer over this. But give it a try and see what you think.
Cost me over $20 for a sandwich, rosemary fries, and a small drink. For lunch. Worst meal ever! Orded the 3 cheese grilled cheese and had to hunt for the cheese. The tomato on the sandwich was under ripe and hard and the rosemary fries had powered rosemary. You would think for that price you could get fresh rosemary. Won't be back
Okay, I am updating my review. Because the staff really had their act together today. Now, I was here a month ago and it was excellent. But today was absolutely excellent! It's not cheap. But it is quality all the way. I got a Tri-tip sandwich, rosemary fries and soda for $20. But the sandwich was packed full of steak perfectly cooked. The fries were a hefty portion of completely tasty goodness. The staff was very nice and everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy working at the restaurant. Most of their business relates to the drive thru. But I would encourage you to go inside the restaurant once in a while. Meet the staff making your meal. Eat your sandwich fresh off the grill. Excellent food and staff. Get the tri tip sandwich. It has a boatload of meat. Very tasty.
