This CVS location in Mission Viejo has some pros and some cons. The pros are that they have regularly amazing deals on vitamins, many times buy one get one free or 50% off.  They also have all of the essentials as a pharmacy, minute clinic, and wellness center. The cons are that there are typically 1-2 people working the checkout and 1 of them is almost always helping fix the self checkout machines.  I saw multiple people while I was there struggle through that checkout process.  Should figure out that process better or get better machines.

I enjoy shopping this CVS location! The cashiers always greet me and are friendly and helpful. They’re the reason I keep coming back! As a bonus the CVS extra bucks program makes shopping fun!

The one star is for management that won't staff this pharmacy properly. I've been coming here for 6 years. The pharmacists and staff are very kind and helpful. The store staff are also friendly and work as quickly as they can. The last year has been terrible. Always a 20-30 min line to pick up Rx, even for just a simple antibiotic. These 2 pharmacy staff employees need help. They are running around trying to get everything done and it's too much work for 2 people.

Worst, unprofessional, unorganized and chaotic pharmacy staff you can expect at such important place where medicines been dispatched. They have no idea what they doing and keep blaming each other for mistakes in front of customer. Even if you receive a text that your medicines are ready, it will take them on an average 1-2 hrs to prepare your prescriptions This has happened to us every single time in this last 3 yrs. Pls don’t waste your time and energy talking to these most unprofessional heartless staff. They don’t understand when someone is sick, that’s the last thing you expect to experience

Patti, who I suspect is overworked, said she's look into why my photos hadn't arrived after 2 weeks I was testing out an old camera. At the time I thought she was just saying that but wouldn't follow through. However, it's good to be wrong sometimes and she did indeed follow up. She called to update me that she was still investigating and then called when they came in. It cost me $20 to find out the camera light seals were shot, but that's OK. It was also the cost of finding out someone did actually care enough to do what they said they would. A rare thing nowadays.  Thank you Patti.

Where else could you go and find no hydrogen peroxide, few bandaids of size and messy shelves…AND checkers who tell you to do it yourself?  I get it about the supply chain, but when there are two checkout staff who are busy chitchatting and ignore me until I ask for help, then point at the self check…well, it’s time to switch, don’t you think?  Did work ethic and pride leave town?

Its such a waste of time to write about this rude employee here name: Michelle at the pharmacy section. She is a low character, a cheapo with no training on how to handle a simple conversation, let alone the concept of customer service. Once upon a time, she was so rude right in front of her Pharmacy Manager Ms. Roza Kazemi - which explains she is abusing everyone,  even the management - when she insistently failed to ask my identity to pull up my account. Instead, she started moving her nasty hands in the air with rude gestures, and when I inquired about her name from her manager, Michelle started bullying and made several abrupt scenes - a sign of her ignorance to a simple procedure:  that she is the one who is responsible to ask patient's name and/or date of birth to pull up the account, not anyone else. She is now also being found nasty, rude, and abrupt on the phone calls as well. Maybe a reason why she has not learnt basics of people and soft skills in 10 years..

I have never left a review for a CVS but I went to this one for the 1st time to get some photos printed for an engagement party when my Costco photo order was not delivered in time. I interacted with 3 store employees during my visit and they were all very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this CVS there are 3 in a close proximity based on the customer service I received.

I  have been going to this CVS since I moved to Mission Viejo and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience there with every employee.. they are all kind and the counters and at the pharmacy!! They make me feel like family there.. I would never change to another pharmacy .
