The customer service at this restaurant is awful!! If I could have given it a ZERO star I would have!! 😡 Stood in line for a good 10mins holding my food I wanted to purchase while the girls behind the register just stood there and chatted it up!! I even made direct eye contact with them so they would get the idea that I wanted to check out and they continue to stand there and talk and completely ignore me!!! I Will make everyone I know is aware of the situation so no one ever goes there again this is unacceptable!!! 😡😡

Girls night first time at burgers on boardwalk was not a great experience. My two friends and I spent about 2 hours at a table, mostly because we were ordering food for our families to go after we had our meal. The waitress did tell us it would take time and therefore we chatted not thinking it was a problem until the manager asked us to have our table. I asked to speak with her afterwards explaining that we felt it was demeaning to us since we spent over 130 between the three of us. She said they ask that people only spend 1 or 1.5 hours due to a wait... and I asked where is the people waiting, she said they just sat at our table... the Mgr was very rude even as I walked to my car chastising me. To be fair the food here is good, but they hype it up and offer music and then rush you off. I just praised and recommended them to friends traveling tjrough from St. Loius and had to tell them to reconsider which is why it was sad to me. Btw, we were not drinking, not loud, and at the furthest end away front the entertainment. I just don't get it. They don't care.

Slow service, disinterested staff. Sort of a "why bother" attitude. Our expectations were much higher.

Good food. Portions are too large. Not friendly to those who stop while biking on the Rock Island Trail.
