The front door to my store had been damaged in the wind and when I reported it to the landlord, he sent D & E out to assess and fix it. The older gentleman who came to my shop didn't offer me any suggestions on how he might fix the problem (the hinge simply being detached from the door) and when I asked if he thought if he would move it, have to replace the hinge, or if there were some other way of securely attaching it he couldn't offer me any answers. Neither could he tell me how much it might cost.                                                                                                                                 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I expressed my concerns with my landlord and he said that he's worked with them often and it should be fine... I let it go at that and hoped that someone else came to do the actual repair. The same old man came with his grandson to do the work. I had all the necessary hardware already at my shop along with a chain with a spring to be added--to help save the door when the wind got bad again. He couldn't figure out any way to get the chain/spring attached so that it would work so I had to explain how he could shorten the chain to make sure it would stay out of the way of the hinge--even then he kept saying how he just didn't know if that would work or not.

The entire job required a total drilling of 4 screws which took him nearly 3hrs. Much of that time I had to instruct him on how to attach the chain and how it could work effectively. This was a waste of my time and even if this gentleman has been doing maintenance work for many years--he should be able to answer simple customer questions And know roughly how much a certain repair would cost--at the very least, the hourly cost for his time.

I do NOT recommend this company. The son has been in before to do some work and he was much better, but after asking for an itemized invoice for this most recent repair I was told that no one could get it sent until Monday--today is Thursday, in the middle of the day. They seem to be poorly organized and their customer skills are incredibly lacking.
