Today we stop by DP Dough's to celebrate their 10-year anniversary after the Saint Patrick's Day Parade! We got a great price on our meal for our family of four and they were offering $1 half zones. The barbecue chicken was amazing! Great atmosphere and location!

The people are pretty friendly when they can actually talk to you (when it isn't crazy busy) and the food is pretty decent. I try to get something veggie to counterbalance all the unhealthiness of dough. Calzones are Not as greasy as pizza, so that's a plus too. The Jones soda is...unique from a fountain instead of grocery store. Overall a good place!

D.P. Dough, short for "De Promised-land Dough," is a whole hoot and a holler and a half. With Jones on tap, and the most quality calzones to have ever graced thy tongue- be he WORTHY of her raw, omnipotent celestial POWER- alas, the dough shall discern the worthy and the noble. If ye be such, then her floury folds shan't disappoint.

I think over time they have lessened the amount of stuff that goes inside. Haven't had them for a long time, decided to give them a try. Now the calzone was excellent...I just felt like there  could have been more toppings. Also got the cheesy breadsticks. They were perfect. Overall great as always!

While I will have a bias in my review, I love DP Dough and the staff there. The first time I arrived in Bloomington Normal the first place I went to was DP Dough and ever since then I never have regreted ordering anything from here, even though I only got my usual; Buffer Zone with no Beau cheese, tater tots and a Sprite. I eventually ended up working here for a bit and I have to say that it was the best job I had in the time of writing this review. It is my deepest regret that I would be ordering anything from here for awhile because I am moving towards my dream. I hope the best for everyone at DP Dough.
