Story

Welcome to the Moorhead Dairy Queen!

The Moorhead Dairy Queen has been a local favorite and important part of our community since
Bob and Phyllis Litherland opened the landmark in 1949. Our store is a traditional seasonal walk-up style Dairy Queen
and is one of the oldest original stores in the entire Dairy Queen system. We feature an outdoor, smoke free patio dining experience under our large red and white umbrellas and we have a large parking lot for easy access to our store. We take pride in our store and work very hard to offer the highest quality products, family friendly prices and old fashion service with a smile :) It has been a pleasure serving our customers over the years and we sincerely appreciate the friendships we have made.

Our customers enjoy our fresh homemade toppings, mouth watering Bar-B-Ques and Chili, as well as our hand dipped Buster Bars and Dilly Bars. Along with our traditional Dairy Queen menu items, we have unique customer favorites such as Chipper Sandwiches, Mr. Malties, Monkey Tails and Old Fashion Sodas. We even have "doggie dishes" for that favorite canine in your life! On occasion, we have been known to feature some of our crew member's favorite creations! Can't decide what to order? Just ask your server to help you pick out a treat!

Visit our store after a baseball or soccer game, during a family fun day or just any time! We make ordinary days extraordinary and special moments even more memorable! The Moorhead Dairy Queen is much more than our amazing treats and smiling faces. We are a wonderful social experience where you see your neighbor or meet with family and friends!
