The resort was very nice as well as the employees. The food was also very good. Enjoyed my stay, however for the costs we paid for one night to celebrate for the New Years Eve celebration, I was a little disappointed. I was expecting fireworks, better music and better decorations in the room. Something that would have made it more festive. This might be something the management would like to look into for future celebration's. Make the guests feel like they got their money's worth and loved their experience.

The Contented Heart Quilt Guild frm Monticello, KY held our retreat here. Great accommodations and off season rates made the retreat affordable. Food was great, large servings and reasoable prices. The entire staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our visit pleasant. We will be back!

This is overall a great place. Breath taking views from lake facing rooms. Really peaceful and tranquil. Lot of activities and good trails. Eagle point is must visit - small and easy track. Rooms are little pricey for the amenities - probably half the charge is for view from balcony.

Love camping here. We go at least a couple times every year.

Just ok. It was quiet. Pretty area. Pretty view from the balcony. It’s in a state park, so don’t expect to have food delivered or run to a restaurant nearby. Either bring good or eat at their restaurant (open for b/l/d). No refrigerator or microwave in our room, but there was a coffee maker. No carpet, just tile in room. I think they rent refrigerators if you needed one. I cannot say that I recommend the restaurant there. We didn’t care for the food, but others there seemed to enjoy it. Staff at desk seemed friendly enough. Nothing really special except the view.
