Great place to camp, fish, hike and even has a golf course. The communal showers and restrooms are usually well maintained and clean.

A beautiful place to visit in spring and summer to see the ducks on the water but the downside is the bathrooms are not open year-round but other than that very beautiful place to visit

Very noisy. Race track Saturday nite racing until 1:30 in the morning when we were there. Could not have normal conversation around the campfire. The campsites we were assigned had a street light. Could not enjoy fire or Stars. Only reason I give 3stars is because of the golf course. I won't be back.

Great park to relax in for lunch, or with kids. Wish I had a boat to launch.

Nice little park it has grills and two shelters. For big cook outs or reunions. Beautiful in the summer time they always have kept it neat. A little fact that I always find I am very proud of Burnside Kentucky is the birthplace of the Boy Scouts of America. General Burnside Island is part of the Daniel Boone National Forest they always keep it nice and neat and sometimes in the summer it is crowded there are campgrounds also there is a shelter where the bathrooms are with a sink and counters for people to fillet and clean their fish after they come out of the water and there is a large boat ramp for many vehicles to pull in at the same time have a wonderful day and God bless you all
