We stayed in a cabin the inside was amazing. Looks small outside but inside was big. The fire place was a wood fireplace and it had fully stocked kitchen. The pool at the lodge was nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and was on top of everything.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Access to the pool, hot tub, and game room was great. Also visited the restaurant, it was delicious! I had no issues with the the room I was in as well. Everything was perfect.

Park is well maintained, lots of boating facilities.great place for a conference. Accommodation is rustic authentic but very clean . Restaurant is available for those who do not want to venture outside the state park.

I've been staying at the lodge or camping here for decades. Food and upkeep can vary depending on who is running things or what their state budget is. This a special park and as long as you don't expect an expensive resort you won't be disappointed.  Note there are several ways to get discounted rooms so be sure to ask.

Also the marina is operated by a concession so any issues are seperate.

The other reviews cover the beauty of the place and other details. I'll add to be careful if the roads are icy. The winding road can be treacherous.

The facilities are actually pretty nice if you don't mind rustic styling.  The location is great if you like the lake and the woods. Staff have been extremely helpful and courteous. Everything I saw was clean and maintained.
