I take my kids here often and enjoy the beach area and the water is very clean and enjoyable. We bring a trash bag whenever we come though, to pick up liter. It does get pretty bad out there. Lots of glass, plastic, dip cans etc but our kids turned it into a “game” when ever we go there to see who can pick up the most trash.

First time at Dana Peak Park and had a great time.  Cook- out with family and went swimming also. So many thing to do here with family and friends.

Not a lot of parking by the beach area so get there early if you are planning a visit. Overall great place to take your family to have a swim or a hike!

Great for day hikes, pet friendly and lots of picnic areas for the family to relax, has a swim beach and camping is optional. Closes at dusk. Clean restrooms, and charcoal grills placed through put area
