I'm happy that SOME people have actually got to seen Dr. Kuzio and those that have enjoyed his humour. I've never got to see him. I got passed on to a physician's assistant every time I made an appointment and then got referred to a Wellstar specialist (endocrinologist) for my diabetes care. So I get charged specialist fees every time I go.

Kuzio has been my doc since I outgrew my pediatric. He’s awesome! However, the office staff was beyond rude. I was told to come in before work to get a quick PPD test. For those who don’t know what that is it’s a tb test that takes about 2 seconds to administer. I got there at 935. I get it, I’m a nurse, I work in an emergency department, I’m not the only person there. I waited. And waited. At 1015 I told her I had to leave soon. I was very polite. She turns around and states the nurse she had texted never read her message saying I was even there....40 minutes later....and you didn’t think to check in that? Anyways, the girl sitting in her chair in the back under a blanket who she told throws up her hands and rolls her eyes and says okay and continues her conversation with another woman. I stress that I have to leave and I drove 30 minutes. Still being very polite. The receptionist gets someone to agree. I wait 10 more minutes and I had to leave so I wouldn’t be late to work. This time I’ll admit I was sassy. I went up and told her I was told it wouldn’t take long and I’m a nurse I know it takes 2 seconds to administer. She says okay, gets up (for the first time) comes back and says she was walking up to give it to you but she put it up now. I said thank you and walked out. Incredibly unprofessional and rude.

Called to make an appointment today & the lady told me that they aren’t taking any new patients LOL.  so I asked if she knew if any other doctors in the area & she replied... I don’t know any doctors in the area taking new patients.   That doctor should be fired!!   Healthcare is a total joke these days.

Im new to the state.(On state aid while looking for a dental hygiene job - so educated in healthcare myself) I was having a hard time finding a Dr. close who was also accepting new patients. I originally couldn't find any reviews and barely any bio info on Dr. kuzio(was a little leary) but gave it a shot becase I was going to have to travel pretty far otherwise. It took a few weeks to get me in, but I'm glad I made the apt. I found Dr. Kuzio immediately to be friendly and funny. His kind of humor may not be for everyone. He called me " fresh meat" for being a new patient and was "dissapointed" he didnt get to have needles put in me for this first visit- it was all with a smile and I found it very entertaining, but that is also how i treat my patients- w/ humor and jokes for the ones who can handle it. There was hardly any wait time after l finished intake paperwork. Agreed, he is no nonsense which i prefer-some people need more hand holding. He did keep the apt moving along..I could see how some may feel a little rushed, but i did not feel as though he wouldn't have taken the time to answer any questions I had. Probably how he keeps his appointments running on time. I'd suggest having all questions and concerns written down so you don't forget any while talking w/ him. I think Dr. kuzio is a rare blend of good bedside manner and understanding business w/ importance of people's time.
