Danke is a solid option within the Revival Food Hall with so many other choices. I got the Inglorious Batard and the Roasted Tomato Soup, which had a nice little spicy tang to it! The Inglorious Batard was a nice twist on the classic French Jambon-Beurre with a pickle added to it. Nice whipped butter and a delicious ham on a solid baguette, was really happy with my choice! The revival food hall is great and has a wonderful vibe with so many options! Overall a wonderful later night meal right before the food hall closed.
I order from Danke about once a month when I’m in the office. I have had a lot of sandwiches on the menu and they are all good. You can’t go wrong. However, my personal favorite is the secret sandwich. Pictured is the Italian because that’s what I ordered when I decided to actually leave a review. They’re always timely, friendly and the sandwiches are consistently good.
Danke is a solid lunch/dinner option. Prices are actually reasonable, service fantastic, and food delicious! They make most of their ingredients in-house, including the bread. Highly recommend the Secret Sandwich!Food: 5/5
My only complaint was the food, everything else was very nice, especially the workers. The bread was so tough to chew..Food: 3/5
Their sandwiches are SO good and have such high quality ingredients. The bread is some of the best in Chicago and baked fresh by them. It's crusty, a little chewy, and just totally perfect for a sturdy and filling sandwich. The sandwiches overflow with fresh ingredients. Always get a little $1 container of the house dill pickles on the side! Can't recommend this place enough. A quick lunch option in the Loop that feels a little elevated. I go whenever I can and have for years. The Veg sandwich is my fave. Also the staff are just really nice. Vegetarian options: Delicious vegan sandwich
Yum! This little spot is one of the restaurants in revival food hall that I love. This smoked turkey sandwich paired perfectly with a bag of chips and a la croix, all of which are offered when you pay. The service was kind and quick. The baguette was a bit hard and tough for my liking, but was still tasty and gave ample texture to the meal. I did have this sandwich around 230pm, so I think the bread was extra tough because of my timing. Affordable and reliable!
Mediocre bratwurst, tomato soup is about average. Staff and atmosphere are excellent. Sour dough bun was falling apart, sauerkraut seemed to be American style versus German or Austrian. Not sure why anyone would put pickles on a bratwurst. Mainly just tasted like cheap meat and grease.
I enjoyed this little hidden gem very much. I was looking for a nice spot to grab a cold glass of white wine and something to curb my appetite until dinner. This work out fantastic! My servers Karen and Jose were outstanding. They were extremely helpful, professional and personable. The wine was just what I was looking for and the meat & cheese platter was delicious. I am so happy I stopped in.....you should too!
Amazing German sandwiches. I tried the secret sandwich sliced pork belly and duck pate and my buddy had the pork roast marinated in spices sandwich. Both had complex flavors and weren't heavy. Delicious!
Great food! Great service! Had the Marinated Kale Salad—the roasted beets gave the salad a really good earthy taste and the lemon vinaigrette is to die for. Prices are great too!Food: 5/5
