They freeze their cakes and put them out as needed. They end up as you would expect frozen cakes to be when thawed; dry and flavorless. For $3.50 a cupcake, I expect fresh baked goods, not thawed from frozen. So many better bakeries with better prices in the area, although a box of Hostess Cupcakes are better than these. I couldn't eat it, went straight in the garbage.

Grateful little place. It was my first time there, so I left with a bunch of stuff: frozen premade meatballs, cinnamon meltaway cookie, Cape Cod muffin, a chocolate cupcake with marshmallow topping and a large brownie. Everything was so well done. I even had a cup of decaf coffee. I wish there was indoor seating, but the weather was beautiful so we sat outside. I'll definitely be back earlier in the day to see what they have that I missed.

Get A scone around 11 am ..omg.. they are so delicious.. my going back home is stop n get a cinnamon chip scone uh huh.. then it's 2.7 hours drive..

I've tried cupcakes here before which were OK but obviously frozen and tasted a little freezer burnt. They would have been great if not for that. Tonight I was in a dinner bind and close by so I decided to try their ravioli and chicken parm. The ravioli was just OK but the chicken parm was a soggy mess. I was expecting the chicken to be real chicken breasts but it looked like chicken patties and had the same consistency. Definitely disappointing. The lemon bar was good but not great and the cupcakes again, were obviously frozen, but had great flavor otherwise. Overall not worth the money and not very fresh.

Delicious baked goods and coffees, the hermits are wonderful. They have an individual focaccia flatbreads with different toppings, very popular, get them before they run out. Only drawback is that they are cash only for purchases under $5
