I stopped in here on a whim, thinking it was a local sub shop, turned out it’s a small chain with locations around the Eastern states. With that said, I would NOT let that curb your enthusiasm. The food turned out delicious, staff was friendly, and the quality was a step above your regular Jimmy Johns or Subway. The French fries were obviously fresh cut potatoes and all the ingredients in the super Dave sandwich I got were carefully selected
Seriously gross! Ordered the grateful Dave.... should of had, tomatoes there wasn't any tomatoes, red onion there wasn't any red onion, alfalfa sprouts there wasn't any sprouts, and avocado the avocado was black and old and rotten and disgusting - see photo. There is literally a grocery store across the street from the sandwich shop. One would assume that if supply chain issues are interrupting key ingredients like tomatoes and avocado, they could simply get them across the street. SERVING ROTTEN BLACK AVOCADOS IS NOT OK. . I will NOT be back
I'm so very disappointed . I was so excited to try Dave's subs. This is suppose to be a italian sub. Where's the meat?? This is the thinest sub I've ever had. 1 slice of salami, paper thin slice of prosciutto, paper thin tomato. Wow what a joke.
I’d have to look at the menu again to remember the name of the sandwich I ordered as it was about a week ago. This thing was just sad. One piece of meat folded in half and a ton of shredded cheese. Loved this place the first year or so it opened but seems like they are skimping on toppings to keep the doors open. Update: This was from August 2nd and it is the #5 Dave's All American
The worst experience getting food ! Got my notification that my food was ready so I went across the street to pick it up .. yeah , 15 min later still wasn’t ready. The guys had to RE-DROPgross my fries because the subs still weren’t ready. When my order was finally ready , I got back to work and sat down to eat .. fries were completely disgusting threw them out , the microwaved meatballs I watched them throw them in the microwave were like rubber and the cheesesteak was loaded with grease. I feel really bad for the guy working on the grill due to the amount of work he was doing compared to his “coworker” Even though I work across the street, I will not be returning.
Holy schnikey's this place is good! I had the original Dave's Cosmic and it was on point! The food was beyond phenomenal, the atmosphere was incredible, and the staff was the best! They visit with every customer coming in like they're long lost friends. When I travel back to Vermont, this will definitely be on my to do list again! 100% Texan approved here!
Great service for an excellent and very filling sub. You get a ton of ingredients making it easily worth the price. The interior design of the place was also great. Only gripe is that it usually takes a while to get your sub if they are at all busy.
This sandwich shop deserves to be your next stop for a sub. The owner Dean and his employees are kind, genuine, and treat everyone like a good friend. I'm proud to support a small business being run the right way. Try the Dave's Club, I can honestly say it's unlike any club I've had before, this cosmic sub is a cut above!
Great vibes and had high expectations. The sandwich overall was just weird. I understand no substitutions but I got a single slice of prosciutto cut in half. basically WHERE'S THE MEAT? anddd the shredded mozzarella cold is not a vibe. Definitely not worth $10 EDITbecause the response from the owner was weird: I ordered the original Dave's cosmic sub and asked the guy if I could replace the pepperoni for ham and he said no. The measly single slice of each meat was just lackluster. Regardless, if someone did want just a prosciutto sandwich you should be able to provide that.
Ordered a sub for my son who’s pretty picky, told them several times what I wanted. He said no problem! I get home and was no what I ordered. I call tell them. I basically got a I don’t know what to tell you!! No refund or replacement.
