Thanks for catering my son’s 5th birthday party. The food was delicious. The fish, stew chicken, rice and peas, Mac and cheese, and cabbage was a hit. You made my party extra special.

Whenever I travel to NYC, business or pleasure, I stop here for my Jerk Chicken! I live in the Chicagoland area willing to travel here just for my freshly made jerk chicken. I call before traveling in and they have it ready for me to travel. I personally never experience any rudeness from staff. Haven’t been since covid hit, however planning a trip soon! Thanks for treating my Aunt well every time she visits !

Small curry goat rice & peas oxtail gravy. The only reason I’m not all upset about my food is because I have a high tolerance for spicy food but this curry is overly spicy for no reason especially for other customers that can’t take spice like me relax on the pepper.. rip mr Dave

Customer service is sketchy... waited 10 min for someone to sell me some food. The old guy that finally helped me was sweet and because of that I really wish I could say something nice about the food. I tried the boneless jerk, and stew chicken.  To sum my experience up... I just wasted $12. This food is disgusting and I will never go back.  I try to support black business, but this place needs a make over, better service, and most importantly GOOD FOOD.  Anyone that says different has poor taste buds.

I don't know if they're not Spanish friendly or I just don't fit in. I was patiently waiting to be served by the elder lady & another elderly lady skips me and starts impatiently looking through the glass to see what has been cooked. So, I watched her without complaining to see how far she would go. I picked up on my intuition and said to the server to please serve me some porridge once she's done with her customer and she replied okay. After she was done, another customer had arrived in front of me and she attended the customer before me and the elderly lady who had skipped me, I let it slide, then after she was done with the other customer who had skipped me, the elderly lady knowing that I was in front of her just asked to be served. So, finally I got fed up and walked away. The 2 gentlemen who were patiently waiting with me were both nodding their heads the way this is being managed. I'm not sure if this is a thing for whoever comes first will be attended, but I don't think it's quiet professional; I'm not used to it, I was taught to be patient, to be respectful, and wait onto your turn. I mean we're even taught this in school just wait on line. I didn't even taste the food to give a better review, but this is just the first step    and every step counts. It's sad that I can't taste the chef's food, but I won't step here again. I just hope that in the future for any new comers that enters into this business that they're respected when waiting patiently to be served. It should be a line or the server should be mindful of who has arrived first to be served. Furthermore, be ready to rush!

Only been once for the jerk chicken, it was perfect.  Tender juicy chicken, great flavor, nice spice but not overwhelming.  We had them put BBQ and jerk sauce right on it and it was delicious.  Haven't tried anything else, and the place has no flair or seating space, but will be back for the chicken and maybe to try other food.

Always get two large rice and beans with goat when in the area. Its family owned and they are very friendly. Food is very very flavorful. Only thing I would suggest is to have a bit more meat on the goat. Other than that two thumbs up.

Customer service was great The young lady. Food was great.The place can use some lighting and sprucing up on the outside and inside; so it's more visible and attractive. I will keep one star until that is done.

The food is tasty,..... When they don't Over Pepper the food,....They need to Add more vegan options, A even though the Customer is Always Right,... Because the Customer pays for what they Want,.... Dave's Restaurant likes to tell the Customers what they can have and not have,...they pick the portions, if you don't take the bruised chicken part,...then you can't Get Chickensmh.

This restaurant apparently doesn't think a paying customer should get what they order. I order an large curry chicken. What I received was a large tin of white rice 2 little pieces of chicken and just a dab of cabbage. All for the price of 12.00 dollars.  I will never return to restaurant.
