Great selection of organic produce. Sandwich bar with lots of custom sandwich options. Decent coffee and muffins although the muffins have gotten smaller lately. Good selection of interesting breads. Bulk foods. Local beers.

This store has delicious food options, many of them gluten and dairy free. The only tough thing is that they had high prices, but I had an EBT card the past year that really helped me buy food from there, so I could finally buy whatever I wanted with it unless it was a hot meal. I love the gluten-free donuts in the frozen section! Staff are friendly and efficient.

This is one of the 2 best locations if you are a cheese snob. They also offer a decent selection of wines, beers, coffee, bulk goods, local produce and more.

 Having said that, only the affluent should bother frequenting this store. As their prices are absurd for members and non members alike. If you choose to become a member, you'll receive a 5% discount on all products.

Best natural foods coop in the USA bar none
Has cultivated long term relationships with the surrounding Central Valley organic farms and has the best produce available anywhere
It's size creates economies of scale so prices are reasonable
Also has excellent local meat selection
 A large wine department

Lots of great ready to eat foods, wholesome ingredients for cooking.  Lots of organic options, freshly made sushi, Acme breads, yummy baked goods, nice meat counter (includes poultry and fish), broad selection of beer and wine, good bulk section (includes spices, coffee, and teas).  Good selection of household goods, gifts, cards, and personal hygiene items.
