They have reasonable prices. I always go there for crickets. It is truly a mother and son business. The fish tanks could be cleaner, and the store is a bit cramped, but all animals are in the same size cage as any other store, they might have 2 birds per bird cage, they also sale fish, rabbits, reptiles, and feeder mice and rats. The workers are always nice. The mother or owner of the shop also does dog grooming. They clean the cages at least daily. ( Every time I go in there after work, never a specific day, they are always cleaning the animal cages.) I could see how people could be turned of at the fact that it is a small building and they are saleing a bunch of animal stuff, but the part that is really cramped is where they have everything but their animals. I have been coming here for years, and I like it much better than Petsmart or Petco. The mother always has good suggestions on how to take care of your animals. Like when I found a baby bird and raised it to health. Or when I was learning how to groom my own dog. These people are amazing!

Cramped, dirty and sad place for any animal that is kept there.

Something straight out of a David Lynch movie.  Cramped spaces, old, dingy, dozens of birds chirping, old "for sale"  dog posters, "interesting" worker...you get the idea.  I was looking for dog food while visiting this area.  The help pointed me towards it.  It was next to the open container of live grub worms.  Needless to say, after about 45 seconds of being there, I promptly walked out without purchasing anything.
