This is at the far end of Ruedi about an extra 20 minutes from the dam. It's a small (maybe 25 spots) with no hook ups. There's a host on site which is good because of the partiers. It's right on the lake and you can anchor your boat very close to the campground. The bugs we're awful but we were prepared. Overall it's a pretty typical government lands campground but much quieter than the places near the boat ramp.

We stayed a weekend in June this year and we really enjoyed the location!  Loved fly fishing the river mouth only 75 yards from our campsite, several even closer.  Sound of the running river made sleeping very peaceful.  Mid-summer mosquitoes inevitable, just bring bug repellent.  Only drawback - sites near the entrance get a dusting from the minor traffic going up the dirt road.

Fantastic campground as far as scenery and fishing. No Wi-Fi, playground or showers.

This is a nice camp ground with vault toilets, fire rings, and bear lockers. We were there in the fall and it was beautiful!  There are several buildings up to one side that takes away from the view - they look industrial? This site is also 45 minutes into the park, so make sure you have gas!! It was farther than we realized. There were only two other campers while we were there. So, it was very quite and relaxing.

Other campgrounds up the road are much nicer. Lots of mosquitoes in june.
