What a sneaky good sandwich shop! It’s a little off the beaten path not been right on colonial, but it’s worth the detour. The staff is so friendly and making sure you get what you want and the sandwich is amazing. The Latke is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Legit would love to have one every morning.
Absolutely banging - will be back again to try more. The latke was crunching yet soft and the corned beef sammie was so flavourful with the perfect amount of acid from the pickles. The buns were so fluffy as well.
I love this spot. Great tasting and consistent. Slightly pricier, but we’ll worth it! I love their lattes, cortados and their labneh sandwich. 10/10!
This is without a doubt THE BEST breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Perfectly crispy bacon, eggs, caramelized onions, and jalapeno cream cheese made for a mouth watering and satisfying experience. Will come back ASAP!
I decided to check this spot out because a few people compared it an NYC deli. I got the BLT and my husband got the corned beef. The food was ok, both sandwiches were too salty for either of us. In the end I was trying to figure which part of any of it reminded people of an NYC deli. Maybe it was the pricing of the food or maybe it was the presentation/packaging of the food which I liked, it had the deli vibe. I actually wanted to try their challah but they were out. So I would like to go back and at least try that. The ambience was also ok; it has that “downtown Orlando hipster” vibe. There’s no seating but there’s an area with local magazines/flyers where you can wait for your order. Overall, the experience was ok, definitely not NYC deli. Regardless, I would recommend that people check out the menu.
went for lunch and got the gravalax sandwhich and corned beef big mac. the gravalax sandwich was yummy, cream cheese was light and not too sour. the corned beef big mac looked like a big mac but did not have enough corned beef and it a bit too much sauce. we also had the chocolate babka which was just ok. better than trader joes but definitely not as good as breads bakery in nyc. no place to sit, the store was cute with a couple of items to buy. overall good. i would definitely go back. i would ask for double meat on the corned beef.
Food: i heard about this place through a few people. I was torn between ordering the corned beef or smoked salmon sandwich. So I ended up ordering the Gravlax - salmon lux with cream cheese, capers, and the bialy bread. I also added an over easy egg. The sandwich was perfectly balance with cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomatoes and capers. I love the Bialy. It was toasty but soft still. The bread was fresh and light enough but yet dense enough to hold the sandwich together. However, it is a bit on the expensive. But you are paying quality. 5/5 Service: very friendly and help staff. They provided me with their recommendations. We didn’t wait more than 12-14 min for our food. And when we went, there were at least 7-8 customers ahead of us. 4/5 Atmosphere: cute mom and pop feel shop. No seating. everything is to go. N/A
It blows my mind how something as simple as a breakfast sandwich on a bialy can be so delicious. My two favorites are the gravalax and the bacon. The jalapeño cream cheese really ties everything together. Sometimes, they offer special cream cheeses like their roasted garlic cream cheese.
Sneaky 17% gratuity automatically charged for my take out order. I was shocked to realize this counter service deli was hitting my credit card for 17% . I was out the door and home, before I saw the receipt from my order. The dude at the counter says, please swipe there, as if I’m paying for the food. No opportunity to weigh in what I think is fair for gratuity. Would have been a 5 star review, because the corned beef on sesame bun was incredible. The latkes are also great, but at $4 a pop, they are small for their price. If I return, I will not be leaving gratuity, because it’s the simplest most casual food experience a customer can have. “Here’s your bag of food, thanks for the generous tip” Not Cool
I’ve been waiting to write a review to sum up the words perfectly… but words don’t do this place justice! Just… try it for yourself. Stop reading… and GO. Warning that It will ruin any other deli for you because it cannot be beat.
