Four years ago, Dem 2 Brothers and A Grill Owner Adrian “Bay” Wright was selling his delicious ribs, pulled pork and his mouth-watering barbecue sauce on the side of the road in Charleston, West Virginia.
The lines for Wright’s barbecue snaked down the road and each day more customers arrived. Wright, who was only in town to attend his best friend’s wedding, knew he stumbled on something big and his family convinced to stay. Wright currently owns two restaurants, two food trucks, with steady crowds, who have used Yelp website to tell the rest of the world just how great the food is at Dem 2 Brothers & A Grill.
As a result of the positive ratings on Yelp Wright, who is the chef, earned a four-and-a-half out of five star rating, which has helped drive tourists and new customers to his restaurant. The Yelp reviews also caught the attention of the Food Network.
Wright recently filmed a segment for an upcoming Food Network show titled “Southern Fried Road Trip” hosted by Jamie and Bobby Deen.
Wright has more than 200 customers stop by Dem 2 Brothers & A Grill on “The Best-Smelling Corner in Charleston;” each day for mouth-watering signature ribs and full menu of other items — including pulled pork, sweet potato casserole, collard greens, baked beans and mac & cheese.
