My girlfriend and I go here pretty regularly and we always love it. Great staff and great atmosphere. I've never had a long wait for the food and I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the flank steak, but those fish tacos are pretty tasty too. Really everything I have tried so far I would order again. Planning to go there for some margaritas later tonight!

I’m a bit of a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine. I’ve had it all from LA street tacos to the best tex-mex in Houston. I’ve tried it all everywhere and I have to say deMena’s holds up to the very best in my experience. I’ll confess, I was skeptical about having a burger at a Mexican place but the chef’s special half chorizo and half beef burger was unbelievably good. One of the best burgers I ever had ever. Then I moved on to the al pastor tacos, then to quesadillas, but my latest obsession is the taco bowl. So far, every dish has been stellar. The prices are reasonable but not cheap. It’s a nice spot with great atmosphere, attentive service and one of the sweetest hostesses this side of the Rio Grande. The only thing I don’t like about deMena’s is that they aren’t opened for breakfast and lunch. As it stands now, my fiancée and I only get to eat there for dinner 3-5 nights a week.
