The archive is located behind the Historic Customs House, which is across the street from the museum. The archive contains documents, newspapers, maps, photographs, and other historical artifacts providing information on Deming, Luna County, other local Mimbres areas, as well as a vast amount of information on Camp Cody history. It is staffed entirely by volunteers, who are dedicated to preserving the history of the city of Deming. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Mon.-Fri. or by scheduled appointment for afternoons.
