Great place to visit. Lots of history. Many historical buildings and sights. We went there for a long week-end and explored the region. The history of the area is fascinating. The buildings are in good shape and a pleasure to visit. We did witness a shoot out reenactment while we were there. There are not many places to eat though, but you can get a decent lunch while visiting.

For a small town this monument has a lot to look at. Other special land marks along the same road. Very well stocked gift shop also. Historic sight place Billy the kid was killed. Special pageants once a year, parade food and fun. There are no dedicated restaurants in Lincoln.

Nice historical town, if you are a Billy the kid buff this is your place. Only disappointment, the Tunstel house wasn't open.

Great place to explore. Not the best for kids as there is a ton of reading to really get the story of what happened here. However nice museum that makes the kid friendly attempt.
