I had an appointment to have my teeth cleaned at Dental on Central this morning. The actual dental clinic (including waiting room and examination rooms) is very comfortable and welcoming - and the staff at the front desk are helpful. Michelle conducted the actual cleaning. She is great! She is super gentle when measuring your gums and during the cleaning. She is also incredibly nice and has good conversation which makes the cleaning go by even faster. There are televisions in the examination rooms. This is the first clinic in which I have seen that in the rooms. I could catch up on Good Morning America - that's a plus. Dr. Jejna performed the final check. He is good and thorough in his job, and he is also very nice. I have had great experiences at Dental on Central and highly recommend receiving your dental care here.

This was my first ever dental appointment, and I really had a good time. I met with Michelle first, who was very professional and personable. She did the comprehensive dental evaluation and explained everything to me, such as what I need to do, what is gonna be their approach, how we can work together. She also introduced me to the scheduling and billing manager, who helped me understand what is gonna be covered by my insurance, and with what I need to do, how much I should expect to pay out of pocket. Everything was clear and upfront. I really liked it.

We brought in a little boy with significant special needs and were met with the most amazing care I have ever seen in my life. The entire staff were wonderful and did everything in their power to get him seen as rapidly as possible. They discussed options with us to develop a plan that would work best for this little guy. If I could rate this company 10 stars, I would in a heart beat!

Dental on Central is wonderful. They were able to schedule tandem appointments for both my spouse and I, saving us valuable time. The staff was proactive and retrieved our dental records from out of town and out of state. Making our visit easy and professional. I would highly recommend Dental on Central as the dentists, hygienists and support staff are awesome!

Update: they apologized and went ahead and did the build up(another thing I didn't know was needed with a root canal with no copy. I still need a crown though. Wow. I am still in shock over what happened. First the dentist and techs were great. My issue is with the billing and scheduling person. I needed a few things done and I clearly stated I have very limited funds as I am unemployed due to a ton of family medical issues. She suggested the root canal was the most important and to do that right way. The amount listed was $50, which I was okay with. After the root canal was done, I was told the tooth is now dead and would need crown asap. Within 10 days the paperwork said and the tech said it could break at any bite if not protected. The crown would cost me $1000. I was not told I would need the crown right after and I was not told the cost of it. Sure it was on the sheet for other visits and treatment options but there was nothing indicating what needed to happen with the root canal. I am not sure how the billing women thought it was totally ok to sign me up for the $50 root canal, knowing I had no way to pay $1000 for the crown needed immediately after. How can she feel ok about this?? How often is this happening to other people? How ethical is this office? I am super disappointed and now I am scared every time I eat since there is no way I get can the crown on. I was mislead and now I have to suffer that. Shame on the billing department. In addition they gave me someone else prescription to fill meaning I couldn't have any antibiotics until they open again on Monday.
