I see a lot of bad reviews but none of my experiences were as bad as these others. First I called the number listed to ask the prices that I had forgotten; this was quick about 10 mins. I went in today at 4pm to renew my vehicle registration. I recognized many of the employees like the nice woman at the first counter you go to after you come in. I waited in line about 11 minutes then she handed me my basic paperwork I needed to fill out with my VIN # insurance information and my receipt that's proof I had paid my taxes for last year. I enjoyed talking to her and then the woman at window 1 who took care of getting me my tags after accepting my $52. I only waited another 15 minutes to see her. Both representatives were kind and we joked and laughed a little. I think the trick here is to stay respectful and be patient, and your experience will reflect that being more pleasant. They can give you hints on best times and days to come if you want faster service. Overall I was satisfied with this interaction. I felt they worked quickly and knew what they were doing.

I have never had a good experience here, but just now I was on the phone for 15 minutes waiting for the call center, and when my call was picked up, they immediately hung up. Absolutely wasted my time, frustrating and unprofessional.

Ive tried to call for 3 days for a wait time of 14-25 minutes each just to find out the hours for salvage title renewal.  Only to be transferred to that dept. and leaving a message that was never returned.  This is not acceptable in my opinion.  I suppose i will have to drive to Charleston to get this done. Since they answer there phone and are quit happy to help.

out of 10 windows, only 4 open. this has to be slowest most depressing DMV in the world. the staff are not friendly, very old and slow.

I had to wait an hour and a half yesterday to be told the Yellow Dot camera was not working. I am having trouble finding a direct number to find out if it is working today.
