This was the first place we stayed when we moved to Bend, (for three weeks before we found a house) and the last place we stayed on our last night in Bend, (four years later). Not only was the owner a great host  but she became one of my very best friends in the process.  I worked for a vacation rental company in Bend and my advice is to stick with the family owned and operated  rentals and give your business to people who truly care about your vacation experience.  You will be very pleased to stay with such warm hearted hosts and on their super awesome riverfront property!  Family  owned and operated with folks who genuinely care about their guests, (enough to create lasting friendships like ours has become 4 years later). Thanks for the great memories!  I will be back and I would never stay anywhere but Deschutes Dunes!

I might be a little biased being that these lovely vacation rentals are my sister's, but Deschutes Dunes is awesome. Located on upper Mirror Pond with the best access to the river in town, Deschutes Dunes can't be beat!
