Let me say I've lived here for 5yrs and it's the best decision I could have made moving in when relocating back to Vegas from active Army Duty in Georgia. From day one Miranda and her professional staff have always been attentive to my needs as a tenant. The property is kept up nicely and sure there is an occasional bad tenant but that's in any area and any given neighborhood at some point and time. David and the maintenance staff are very professional and knowledgeable on repairs. It's conveniently located to schools and the base. You couldn't ask for a better staff and quality home living if you are looking to rent Diamond Vista is definitely the place for individuals or families.

If I could give it no stars I absolutely would. Living at Diamond Vista was positively the worst experience I have ever had. The management, specifically, Miranda Paiz, is probably one of the worst management companies I have had the displeasure of dealing with. She uses bully tactics when dealing with tenants that have been living on the property longer than she had even been working there. She'll suck up real nice while you're viewing the property and do anything she can to convince you to move in, but once you're in, the real Miranda surfaces. She enforces some rules with some tenants and some with others but never all of the rules with all of the tenants. She will ask one person on the lease to commit forgery to avoid a ding on her company audit because she failed to follow protocol originally. She follows rules according to her convenience. The property is poorly maintained and when someone puts in a work order, they are out of compliance according to the terms of the lease. Several work orders we put in were majorly delayed or all together forgotten or ignored. The substandard appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator, washer/dryer) that they property supplies are not properly maintained therefore rarely function properly. In the 4 years that I lived there, routine preventative maintenance was not performed even one time. The garage door systems are also failing, never properly maintained and when the service company comes for any type of repair, they are quick to let tenants know that the management office has been reminded numerous times that they will continue to fail until they are properly maintained. This is all just the tip of the iceberg. Never mind the fact that due to poor maintenance practices, these things are constantly breaking and not only do they not try to fix them in a timely manner, but Miranda will do anything she can to pin the cost on the tenant. Especially on tenants who really don't know any better. She plays on their fear of losing their home. To go even further, I know it says gated community, which may be partially true, but anyone can get in because not all of the gates are secured and the main gates stay broken more often than not. This is probably a good indication as to why the police are consistently inside the gates looking for criminals on the run and at any time you can look out your bedroom or kitchen window and see the police with their K9 in your backyard without warning. If you do live there and choose to move out, don't even bother giving them a forwarding address because they won't use it. They'll continue to send you correspondence to the same address they know damn well you moved out of, despite the fact a forwarding address was provided long before moving out. The rent is way overpriced and if you take the time to do the research, you will find a much better value for less money in a far better neighborhood. Save yourself the ongoing stress of dealing with the epitome of slum lord. Find a better place to give your money to.
