This is simply the BEST hot dog ever invented. Been eating here since before I could walk and while I now live several hours away I still make the trip just for a dog and their excellent pizza. Do yourself a favor and order a double hot dog, a slice of pizza and a grape soda.

To me a life long HOT DOGS junkie; Dicky Dee's is still the best. It's not a Burger joint or a fancy hot dog joint. I stopped by for the first time in 3 years since I moved out of state. It has not changed in many many years. From the old photos on the wall to The Dogs itself. Owner ship is still the same and the taste of the Double Dog all The Way is remarkably the same as I remembered. Yes there have been others but for me only Dicky Dee's Italian Hot Dogs. Like they say Gotta Go!

Dickie Dee's is a Newark favorite, with over 50 years of history and a whole lot of character. With so many pizza places in the city alone, Dickie Dee's easily holds it's own. Mostly known for their pizzas and dogs, the rest of their menu may go unnoticed to many. Their steak sandwiches are very understated. The service may be intimidating to some, but it's part of what makes the place unique. Eating indoors may not be for everyone, especially for people who prefer modern interiors and easily accessible seating. Definitely worth a visit though.

Nothing else satisfies the crave for Italian hotdogs better than this place. Not the best place to dine in through, consider it a take out spot.
