Beautiful place to sit and look out over the waters and think. I have gone many many years to just sit watch the waters and feel the breeze. Very safe never have had any issues with people or animals. Would bring my son as he was growing up. We would do photos and sit on the benches and talk. There is a play area also. Very clean and they also have concerts and small fair type things along with farmers market at different times. Love it there!

Bathrooms were awesome. Great rest stop on the way down south. Has small but good trails to stretch your legs, and many viewing spots of the Pacific on cliffs.

Dinosaur caves is a delightful park with a large playground, clean toilets, and a bluff walk with 75+ foot cliffs that drop straight down to the ocean. Interpretive signs and a large grassy area that is often home to a variety of local festivals round this out to the best park in the Shell beach/Pismo area.

We stopped at this playground during a road trip. Our 4yo twins had so much fun that they spent the next two days asking to come back! The dinosaur eggs kids can climb in were a big hit. It's also right by the ocean, and there are gorgeous views. The landscaping is lovely as well.

Could use more for the kids, it's a beautiful place, they have large events here, but same with everthing in this county, NOT ENOUGH PARKING During events! It has bathrooms, local history, paved and unpaved walking paths. Lots of benches and diverents viewing points. This is one of those city parks that blurs the edge of nature, it true is alive. It can also be dangerous if you are foolish, stupid, drunk, or generally reckless. Wether you come to one of the many many events here, or stop by to walk your dog (put you doggie doo in the trash no in a bush), fly your drone, or devour an Old West Cinnamon Roll, you won't regret it.
