 I LOVE Dishman Hills and have been going there for years. They have recently done some upgrading to the play structures and landscaping in the main park area. The best experience is to nature walk the trails in the preserve.

Has spacious flat grass area with plenty of shade. Great playset for younger children. Short paved path. Two water fountains. Lodge with bathrooms available (flushing toilets and sinks). Outside this area are many trails to pick from. The dirt is packed enough you could take a durable stroller, but the hills are very steep. You would probably be more comfortable using a carrier.

Its great if you stay on the main trails but alot of homeless people camp out in the woods

So fun. You can choose your path according to skill level, and it's gorgeous

Very nice hikes. Well taken care of. Not too much trash. Iller Creek also nice.
