We are long time members and enjoy our weekend get aways.  Close to home and yet the feeling of country.  Nice amenities.

Run down. The sites are very close to each other. There are a lot of long term tenants who speed that the park and down the road. It's hard to see the road sign, particularly at night, and the roads are narrow to navigate. The office is only open from 10am to 4pm. The park itself is just past a growing suburban neighborhood, so it's a matter of time before it will be surrounded or get sold for housing development.

Ponderous Falls is a wonderful 'tween place.  You're gonna love it here!

We were going stay the weekend and explore membership opportunities. Didn't happen. If this is the way they treat potential new members, I hesitate to consider what the alternatives are. First, was assigned a spot in  the "B" section - an area of dust, potholes and some pretty tight spaces (had to back out of a "pull-thru" due to lack of room). When we extended one slide, the open windows ended up being a very short distance from the neighbor's sewer dump. Yep, no patio space at all and two trees blocked the use of the awning (this in 90+ temps). Dead grass, dust, tight corners. Nope, if I wanted to boon dock it would have been in a much less crowded space. Sorry K M, you blew it. But, thanks for the quick full refund.
