I did a survey on my visit . The results were good but I did list a way I thought improvements could be made . I had an immediate call (Sara I think ) from a very caring and concerned representative. The situation was thoughtfully explained and we also discussed a way to implement a informative solution. I had a drug screen for work and brought my pharmacist print out of medication allowed . The original employee didn’t accept it . I feel that there should be someway of noting on the test that a client has medication allowed paperwork. In this day so many people do the wrong thing with medication & it causes scrutiny and judgement etc on the ones who do follow the rules . The lady who called me was very caring and understanding abt the issue . I highly recommend Doctors Care . Especially the Summerville north Main Street location. Kindest Regards , Connie

Very disappointed with my experience on Friday night. Went in with all the classic symptoms of the flu. But could have bronchitis or possibly even pneumoniabut the physician that saw me made up his mind that I'm suffering from allergies and totally ignored anything else I had to say. Even though i have no symptoms of "ALLERGIES". He simply made his diagnoses with a white blood cell test which doesn't definitively rule out anything. A true indicator would have been a culture test which takes a minimum of 24 hours of growth. Didn't suggest a chest xray because like I said he made his diagnoses before hearing ALL the symptoms, doing the correct and necessary testing, or simply listening to me. Arrogant doctor that just wanted to belittle my knowledge and get onto seeing the next customer waiting. Money money money. I was charged $175.00 for a steroid shot and a blood test that neither did anything to help me. They gave me prescriptions to treat something i dont have....ALLERGIES. The pharmacy charged another $75.00 for the medicine that didnt work. So im out a total of $250.00 and still feel the EXACT same way. It's now Sunday afternoon and I feel no better then I did Friday night before seeing them. I wouldn't trust my healthcare to this place people....... ********************************************** Tuesday night........Still no relief. It's obvious at this point the "doctor" was WRONG. $75.00 for medicine that DID NOTHING. I've coughed so hard and so long now that I've either crack some ribs or torn some tissue. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CARE IVE RECEIVED FROM THIS PLACE. THEY STILL HAVE MADE NO EFFORT TO CONTACT ME AND MAKE THIS RIGHT. ********************************************* 1 and 1/2 weeks had passed since being misdiagnosed by this clinic. Still sick and coughing and in EXTREME PAIN in left lung and ribcage. Decided to go to Roper St. Francis Express Care in Ladson. Just as I had originally suspected....after having xrays taken and exam done, I was correct. I have pneumonia. I have suffered for 2 and 1/2 weeks was given the wrong medication for what's wrong. All because the arrogant doctor at Doctors Care wouldn't listen to me. He didn't do the correct testing to be able to make an informed diagnoses. Too busy comparing himself to Marcus Welby MD. Listen people, DO NOT TRUST DOCTORS CARE IN SUMMERVILLE. I sincerely recommend going to Roper St Francis Express Care. Much more qualified to help the sick. I'm still waiting for Doctors Care to make this right by compensating me my hard earned money they took from me while misdiagnosing me.

I decided to come here instead if emergency room to get my foot checked after stumping my toe and not being able to walk on it at all. I have a 6 week old son and was desperate for a way to help ease my pain and help me walk. They took x-rays and verified I had a bad fracture. When the PA returned to the room to tell me the plan of action I was told that they do not dispense medical equipment there and that he was giving me a prescription to take to a place that did have a boot and crutches to help. I explained to him that I really needed at least crutches today because I am not able to take care of my newborn as I cannot walk on my foot. He proceeded to suggest that I "walk on my heel" as I have been doing all day. Then he told me he was giving me a prescription for Motrin for pain. Really? Motrin? I told him I could buy that over the counter. He said ok and that there was nothing else he could do for me. The med assistant came in a moment later and handed me the prescription for the boot and crutches and I again expressed to her how upsetting it was that they could not help me any more than that because all the medical equipment places were closed and I needed relief immediately. She told me to hold on and made the comment that they do have crutches and she left again. She came back telling me that my insurance was the reason I couldn't get them there. I offered to pay for crutches and asked the price and was never given the price nor option. I had also commented to her that I was not surprised that I was not given pain medication either because as soon as they hear I am on a medication for opiate addiction recovery patients, I am treated like a drug addict. I left out very upset and I will NEVER come back to this place. The PA has a terrible bedside manner and treated me like it was something to suck up. Don't ever go there for a painful problem!

I woke up sat morning with a bad sore throat. My reg doctor's office was closed. So I called Doctors Care on main street . My wait time was so fast. Everyone there was so nice ,the test fast and it turned out to be Strep. Dr Finch was so sweet. Every thing was so fast and I spent a lazy weekend in bed Thank you Doctors Care. They even called me Monday morning to check on me S.Allan .

Dr. Morgan is awesome! He really made sure I was pain free & swelling subsided and able to get my ankle back feeling better. He listened and carefully looked over my situation. And also provided me with additional information for an orthopedist. He's top notch! I remember him from years ago when I was a child as my doc so it was great to see him although I finally remembered who he was on my way out. lol. Thanks a bunch!
