My first appointment to the Fetter Summerville Health Center was yesterday and the visit could not have gone better. The center was clean and the check-in efficient and easy. The staff were wonderful as was James Dove PA who gave me a better check-up than the Roper St Francis doctor I had for decades. I left the center feeling like I got the white-glove treatment. Thank you to everyone at the Summerville Health Center. Y'all are doing wonderful work for those of us in need.

I have honestly never had a problem. Until yesterday. I wasn't even Informed that Dr. Townsend was no longer with them. So I had a prescription for phentermine it was prescribed to me for weight loss. I was 187 pounds and went to 168 the last time I was weighed. But Ive actually gotten down to 160 pounds now.My goal is 145. I took my bottle in to be changed to pills and not capsules. I find they do not work for me as well. So the nurse calls me back and proceeds to tell me that She will not be writing me a prescription and will not give me my refill back. Because they didn't find it in my urine and I haven't lost weight. The lady I'm speaking of is a Nurse practitioner who has never even met me. Now there is times that my appointments would be a few months apart. Dr. Townsend would give me a 30 day supply. So if it wasn't in my system that's why. And to say I haven't lost weight is just ignorance. Apparently she's going from the last time I was weighed. Not from when I started taking them. I was very anger about this. Who in the hell treats someone this way. Hopefully they will actually get a Dr. In there who can read. Because apparently she can't or doesn't care to. I'm diffently filing a formal complaint against her.

Everyone is kind there and my doctor always listened to what I had to say. I had my first Depo Provera shot February the 5th. My next appt was scheduled for April the 5th, which is only at an 8 week interval when I should be getting it every 12-14 weeks. My third shot which is now coming up, and scheduled by a whole different person (that didn’t even know when my last appt was), is for July 5th. Which is almost a 15 week interval. Do these people even know what they’re doing? I’ve tried calling twice today and every time, it keeps saying everyone’s busy.

Terrible. Was told they accept walk-ins. Signed in when i walked in, sat for 45 minutes, want acknowledged once. 4 ladies behind the front desk and not a single one greeting patients or anything. Pathetic.
