Story

Doctors Medi Center is a privately operated Urgent and Primary Care facility, conveniently located off of Exit 12 of the NJ Turnpike in Carteret, NJ. Our team of highly skilled specialists have been providing professional medical care to patients for over 30 years. We take pride in serving the town of Carteret and are continually recognized for supporting local organizations and providing fully integrated healthcare. Our mission is to offer prompt, cost-effective, quality healthcare to our patients and with our facility’s extended hours, accepted insurance plans and experienced emergency medical staff we can do just that.

I needed to see a doctor for my back pain Wednesday . I made an appointment the same day and referred to do all the tests needed ( X-rays, blood, test). Friday was diagnosed and sent for PT which I'll start Monday. Staff very attentive, and doctor Sanna listens and answers all your questions

My primary doc was off so I went here on a sick visit. My illness progressed to acute bronchitis. The first thing the doc in the ER said after reviewing my chart was that the prescription dosage was way under and this was why things progressed as they did. Upon return My primary doctor agreed. I needlessly missed days from work Had the wrong meds in my system Ended up in the ER NO- I will never go back to this place! Worst experience at a medical facility on US soil.

It is really not URGENT CARE. I was was denied service due to an unknown $75 dollar balance from a previous emergency! The business billed and coded the service incorrectly. Also an extra $25 mysteriously appeared to make the bill$95. I basically paid the$75, got a receipt stating zero balance and my insurance company will reimburse me. So beware! I was told my insurance was accepted by this company, they billed incorrectly and service was DENIED. It's a money making business! It could be hit or miss when you go there. You would be better off going to the emergency room, at least you know you will be serviced......

Horrible doctors and nurses who don't care about their patients. I had high fever and flu like symptoms when I walked in. There was 1 patient waiting ahead of me who had an appointment and there were several doctors and nurses on staff. I had to wait for an hour and I asked them several times if someone could see me but they were very rude and kept saying that they are busy and I will have to keep waiting. I saw the clinic staff and doctors hanging out in the lobby and making jokes and listening to music. They had plenty of free time on their hands and when I asked him again they just yelled out again that I will have to wait or I had the choice to leave. I couldn't wait any longer as I had gotten extremely sick and was almost about to throw up so I just left without anyone seeing me. Please go here at your own peril.
