Dollar Book Fair makes reading affordable; we carry a vast selection of gently used books in all categories, with 99% of our books priced at $1, $2 or $3.

Story

We offer a ginormous selection of books, 99% of which are priced at $1, $2 or $3. See our huge kids' department, with baby board books, picture books, chapter books, activity, coloring, and workbooks, favorite characters, and even Spanish books. For the grownups we have cookbooks, sports, home décor, gardening, humor, biographies and memoirs, history, politics, travel, business, older textbooks and teaching aids, religion, classics, self-help, romance, sci-fi, mysteries, fiction, magazines, books in Spanish and MORE.
Everyday specials include
: mass market paperback thrillers, mysteries, sci-fi, fantasy and romances $1 each, buy 3 and get the 4th free
: older hardcover fiction, $1 each, buy 3 and get the 4th free,
: comic books, $1 each, buy 4 and get the 5th free
Our inventory is cheap, sells quickly and changes daily, so we regret that as our inventory is not computerized we are unable to check for specific titles. But please come on in and browse awhile and we are sure you will find some bargains and unexpected treasures.
Take advantage of our trade-in program; bring in your gently used books for 20 cents per book store credit towards the purchase of your choice. Some exceptions apply (overly worn books, obsolete, out of date, obscure, or books in categories in which we're overstocked). Also your outright donations are gratefully accepted and help us continue to serve the community as one of the last few remaining bookstores!
