I Thought this would be a safe rental car place too rent from! We recently took a vacation too the south too visit family and have a relaxing time. On the way back we were traveling back north an got a flat tire! We called the dollar rental roadside assistance multiple times stuck on the highway for 3 hours! They were no help kept us on hold a few times then lost the call! Apparently they were supposed to send someone out too change the tire, but we received a call 2 an a half hours later an they said no one was available too come change the tire an wanted us too pay for triple AAA an tow the van rental too the nearest airport an charge us for that! Plus a taxi an remind you we had a total of 6 people, so that would mean we would have had too rent a total of two taxis!! So I decided too call Roadside assistance on the highway, they were very respectful on the phone an friendly customer service! The roadside assistance showed up within 30 minutes and was a god sent from above! The guy from the roadside assistance changed the tire within in 15 minutes! Now here is the worse part he showed us the flat tire, we did not run over a nail or glass none of that! He showed us the flat tire was worn so badly from the inside of the tire an we were lucky too be alive! Remind you I had my 4 year old son in his car seat.
And he inspected the other back rear tire an said drive as safely as you can home because the drivers passenger rear side tire was basically in the same shape! He advised us an told us very respectfully, that the rental company did not do an inspection on the tires! We could have all been seriously injured or possibly even dead. Because eventually the tire would have blown out driving 65 mph on a highway that would have been a really bad tragic ending! What rental company an there right mind does not inspect everything in the vehicles they rent before they give them too customers! Bad customer service and they should be seriously over looked by the better business bureau! Now we are cautiously droving on a donut at 40 mph and I pray to god the other tire makes it! I will be posting on every site possible an making as many complaints as I possibly can including taking pictures of how bad the tire was worn out from the inside staples coming out all around the inside of the tire! What ever happend too safety first? And when you rent a car they should have 24/7 roadside assistance! I will also be in contact with corporate and find other people have your business over looked!!worst experience of my life and suffered a panic attack! P.s remember they wanted us too call a tow company too the nearest airport and have the passengers take 2 taxis with all of our luggage, pay for all of that which would have cost approximately 500 dollars! Your company needs too be overlooked by the safety inspection team! What we went through was panic an pain. Money aint the issue when your life is on the line! Inspect your vehicles more thouroughly...

We were very pleased with the customer service we received with our Dollar Rent A Car experience. When picking up the car we were assisted by Rosa, who was informative and answered all of our questions. At the time we returned the car I left my cell phone in the car and the attended quickly found me to return my phone as we entered the airport. I call this Customer Service at its best!!

The rental agent in the garage was very personable, friendly, and professional. He was very good at his job and had me in and out. He made the entire process very easy. Thank You very much Dan!

Dollar regularly has the best rates and this trip was no exception. In the end, we paid about 45% less than first quoted. The car was a full-size that had a few miles on it but was in good shape and did all we needed and more. The counter and check-in folks were great to work with. If you are looking for a decent vehicle at a good value, always check out Dollar's online deals.

Rented a car a week and a half ago.   We were given a Toyota Camry with a GPS which was very helpful on our vacation.   The vehicle was a 2016 with about 900 miles on it.  Very nice and good service at the check in counter.  Will definitely use them again on our next visit.  Also the attendant who got our car for us was very helpful, got our gps  going for us to get us started on our trip.
