I came into Dorn by the capitol today and was immediately greeted with help and good humor. John was very quick to point me to the right aisle so I could purchase so self drilling screws. The location of this hardware store has been a life saver while working at the Overture Center. I’m very sad to hear it this location is closing. The friendly and knowledgeable staff will be missed. Thank you for all your help over the years!

The staff are always helpful, going above and beyond simply selling things. It's been my experience that they are ready to give helpful advice, tighten (or loosen) a screw or bolt, or even drill a hole in a plastic drink lid so that my son can drink more independently from a drink.

My son doesn't have the best control when sucking and needed "lip blocks" for his straws to help prevent choking. When I asked if they could drill a hole in a few drink lids for him to use they were happy to help. They're like family, always there with information and help.

Dorn Hardware is where I will always go for all of my hardware needs.

I tend to agree with the others here that the customer service is okay at best. Through multiple visits over the years they have always had what I need, but it's frustrating when the cashier values his conversation with a friend at the counter over serving you.
