Our most trusted restaurant in Burlington. Year after year, lunch after lunch, dinner after dinner, we are never disappointed with the food or service at the Downtown Bistro. During a recent week at home on vacation I think we ate there 6 times over the course of 9 days. Lovely patio. Fabulous menu which changes just enough - but never removes our favourites. My husband says that Mike is a genius with sauces - I would have to agree. They have their own parking lot which is a big plus!

Great ambiance, excellent service, generous portions of delicious meals!! Attentive server, made sure our glasses were full and provided excellent recommendations. Pecan crusted chicken was moist inside and crispy on the outside, the potato waffle is no doubt a gift from the food gods. The Tuscan pasta, although a cream sauce, was not overly rich but full of great flavour combinations. My dad ordered the pickerel, which much to his delight was fileted perfectly- no bones! Well priced, excellent portions, I cannot wait to return. Worth the drive from Ottawa!

A great dining experience . Small restaurant with a European feel . The food is fantastic , very flavourful., plentiful and veggies fresh and plate nicely arranged. The Caesar salad actually had the salty proccuito it's supposed to have and is no longer it into in most restaurants anymore . Now you just get croutons and cheese and dressing but not here. The Caesar salad has it all and exceptional taste with a creamy rich dressing . The chicken crust covering was as well delicious beyond able to cut my chicken with my fork as it was so juicy not dry as a lot of places. My friends appetizer was so big she took a doggie bag home. Delicious fresh small bread slices , phyllo wrapped Brie and jelly to top your bread Ncheese. Service very friendly and pleasant . Attention to customers satisfaction was so nice but not overbearing I'll definitely go back to this small gem of a restaurant in downtown Burlington Kudos to the chef!!
