Downtown is impressive - historical sites, a wide variety of restaurants, and so much more. The only problem is the parking. Almost non-existent and expensively priced. I'd recommend it, but you need to be aware of the parking issues.

Has a nice feel to it. Easy to get around and lots of different shops. Good eateries, quality going up, culture offerings has variety as well. People watching from benches and many photo opps.

I disliked it from a parents point of view. Definitely more of a college town type feel. There were homeless people fighting in the streets and yelling out obscenities. Police had to be called out. I did like the look of the town, but I felt like I could not take my kids here again.
