It’s fun. It’s local. It’s contrived. It’s come a long way since the late 80ties. You can catch a movie in the theater, which is now updated to have those seats that you reserve, but you can recline. You can have dinner. You should explore outside of the central drag street to get some real delicious variety. In the summer they have entertaining festivals. What is  great about Downtown Silver Spring  is it’s diversity of food, culture, and people.

I love downtown. I love the shops and restaurants outside but the mall, for such a great location should have better shops and it would be great if it had more elevators for mothers with babies in strollers like myself. You often have to wait to have access to the only elevator available. And when it does become available, it's always packed.

Jumping area! Full of Life! A place you can always enjoy walking around in. You're with lots of people. It's a safe area. Fun place to shop and dine! Always look forward to visiting Downtown Silver Spring.....

Great spot! Frequent farmers markets, events, and outdoor family activities. Great ice skating rink offering ice skating lessons with knowledgeable, patient and friendly instructors. Great affordable shopping options and a variety of dining options. The traffic can be horrendous depending on what time of day your visit, but all in all a great weekend hangout spot.

Avoid the indoor shopping mall! Felt unsafe as male panhandler approached shoppers for money. It's amazing how stores and restaurants outside this building gave me a good shopping experience, but not inside. Clean it up. Security is needed. Better lighting. More quality stores. It doesn't fit.
