Last night (2/6/18) I stopped at the Dairy Queen in Belfair around 7:15 PM. My total was $19.09. I handed the drive through cashier (a young woman) $50.09. She then tells me that she accidentally entered the wrong amount into her register and has to figure out what change to give me.  This takes a ridiculously long amount of time (I actually see her pull out a calculator,) and then she hands me $30.19. I told her no, my change should be $31. She then asked her manager to come over who also pulls out a calculator and insists that the change is $30.19. After a couple more moments of back-and-forth they finally give me the right change, and then as we were driving away I hear the manager say to the cashier, "they just conned you out of a dollar!"  
Seriously?  It would've been more difficult for her to figure out the change to give me if I had given her the $50 bill. Me giving her the nine cents made it so that she literally had to give me no change and only $31 back. Not only that, but I am struggling to understand how they even came up with the $30.19. The only thing I can fathom is that they were going to give me $30.91 back,  which would've made a little more sense, but apparently both the cashier AND the manager managed to switch the numbers to come up with $30.19. 
Dairy Queen, you need to teach your employees AND managers:
1) How to do math 
2) How to use a calculator 
3) How to keep your rude (and sorry, STUPID) comments to yourself until customers are out of earshot.

Ffs learn customer service.couldnt get waited on when they did it took 15 min. to get food. I was the only person there. Need to fire some of those pos working there.

Went to dq tonight for dinner tonight they did not take discover the lady was very nice and apologized while another employees screamed it’s not there problem. I asked to speak to a manager as I was embarrassed by her comment then she pretended to be one. Finally a guy named danial came up and told me he did not care and wouldn’t even look at me. Nothing but problems at this place

Terrific and friendly place to eat a meal or just have dessert. Good prices and efficient service. Outdoor seating available.
