I have been a patient of Dr. Boone's for over 20 years. She gives quality care and always takes the time to thoroughly explain what she is doing and to give me options. She is never pushy about one option over another and respects my decisions. She is professional, caring, and takes time to really talk with me as her patient. She listens and doesn't rush. She saw me through 2 pregnancies and I was very pleased with the care that I received. No matter which office I've visited her at, she's always given excellent care and treated me with respect and kindness.

She is very welcoming and friendly. Her education and degrees speak for themselves. She is thorough and explains what she is doing. So glad I found her.

My experience with Dr. Boone was not a good one. I started seeing her last year after having an emergency bowel resection caused by endometriosis. Once I was released from the hospital I was referred to Visalia OB-Gyn as the best in town, and Dr. Boone was the only one taking new patients. She gave me 2 treatment choices: full hysterectomy, or Lupron Depot and Norethindrone for 6 months. I opted for the latter since we would still like to have children. I did the 6 months. Had a triple hernia repair in December. My husband researched the best excision surgeons and found Dr. Camran Nezhat. I had surgery with him in March for my stage four endometriosis. I called Dr. Boones office to schedule an appointment for pain. I let them know about the surgery I had also. When I did, Susan stated that I should just go see Dr. Nezhat. I told her it wasn't possible as he is 5 hours away. She then said she would see if they could fit me in and call me back. Since no one called back I went to my general practice doctor. The next day, they did call back. I was told: "Dr. Boone would like me to relay a message to you. Since you made the decision to go see Dr. Nezhat, you should keep seeing him. I couldn't believe what they were saying to me and almost did not know how to react. I was being "fired" as a patient? Really? I asked to speak to the office manager, which I did. I let her know what happened and she said she would address the issue. I hope so, as I have never had such lacking customer service.
