Still dealing with billing issues from a horrible office visit from June of 2016. My insurance company paid $3200 for a specimen test I never authorized considering I walked out of consultation. Still paid my $100 deductible on top of insurance and a year and a half later I'm still getting bills saying I owe them money. If you want to get charged for a bunch of BS and deal with it for extended amounts of time then this office is perfect!

Dr Stone transferred where I was getting my prescriptions filled, and decided to change my prescription of pain medication. My insurance did not cover what she changed my pain medication to, and when the pharmacy she transferred me to contacted her , she didn't reply, nor answer my emails, to correct the prescription, and left me without anything for a month. She did a culture on an infection I keep getting, and told me I had cancer in December, I was devastated, and hurt. only to find out at the ER room, it was not cancer. Dr Stone decided early in the Dr/patient relationship that she didn't like me, and she let me know. I felt so humiliated when I left there several times, I cried my eyes out, she asked me if I hung out with people that had aids, and hurt my feelings badly over things in my life I had no control over. I was so humiliated, but I was going through a terrible time in my life with being harassed, and at that time didn't have my options. Just be aware that if she don't like you, you will be treated accordingly. I was always kind, and very respectful, and will always be, I would never hurt anyone, like she hurt my feelings. I have seen many Dr's, but she treated me the worse, I have ever been treated. Left me in terrible pain. I do not enjoy writing negative reviews, but no one has ever humiliated me so badly in front of others and I was just hurt. Then left with no pain meds, and she never corrected it. I believe she didn't want me there. And did it on purpose. I beleive if she likes you , you'll be ok, but if not watch out. Amanda Poore

Love her! Very no nonsense and very knowledgeable. Went into great depth as to what my options were. Made sure I understood everything. Can't say enough positive things!

I arrived 30 minutes later than my scheduled 30 minutes prior to my appt for a new patient due to construction and traffic. I was really concerned that I wasn't going to be seen and have to reschedule. The girl at the front desk went back right away to check and yes Dr. Stone was fine with it. After receiving the new patient forms, I can definitely see why they request the extra 30 minutes. It actually took me 45 minutes to complete and I'm a fast writer! The forms are very thorough and I was impressed! I was really impressed that I was brought back within 15 minutes of completing the forms and when Dr. Stone came in she was actually apologizing to me for the wait - which was nothing and if it had been - it would have been by my own doing! The greatest thing was after some small talk she actually had my forms and was using them as we were discussing my chronic pain issues! I can't tell you how many times I have seen a new dr and wondered based on conversation if they have even looked at the forms I spent time completing but actually using them during the appt. never happens! Dr. Stone was amazing. I have searched for a dr for years (in Chicago) to tell me I have other options besides another surgery putting a pain pump in me! We discussed all my medications and procedures I had done. She also did a physical exam and noticed that I was moving in a way that she felt my fusion may not have healed properly and suggested I get a type of X-ray that I have never heard of but made sense since I had a regular x-ray that had already shown a problem in that area. Dr. Stone also discussed the option of getting the DNA screen and thoroughly explained to me the reason they use this and the benefits of having this completed. Due to the type of medication I have taken and will continue to take, I felt it was something that would be beneficial to my health. We also discussed the filing of my insurance and should my insurance decline coverage what the financial implications would be. Finally, when I left the patient room the staff was immediately available to finalize all the necessary information needed regarding my new scripts and the procedures I needed and where I needed to go for these. They also made my next appt at the same time. When I left this office, I was thrilled to finally have found a dr. that actually had a new idea and plan of how I can get off the fentanyl patches that I have been on for the last five years! Every time I asked my pain dr what I could do different the answer I got was to have a pain pump or the PA who new I had started wintering in Florida (because I felt less pain than I do in Chicago) told me I should just move to Florida! NICE!! This was really her medical solution! Dr. Stone is a very warm, friendly and thorough Dr. and I am more than thrilled that I have found her! I'm looking forward to my next appt. in a few weeks!
