Dr. Decotis-Smith and Dr. Caywood are wonderful doctors. They performed an urgent emergency c-section for my baby and I when my placenta tore from my uterus.  Thanks to their unbelievably speedy and precise medical skill in a crisis situation, both my child and I were able to walk away healthy.  Without them, my baby may not have survived.  Beyond my surgery, throughout my recovery, they were there every step of the way. Dr. DeCotis was also there throughout my high-risk twin pregnancy and delivery. With her aid throughout the process of both of my pregnancies, my babies were born happy and healthy, and my surgery and recovery were flawless. I absolutely LOVE being cared for my Dr. Decotis.  She is simply the best.
Both doctors are compassionate and genuinely care for the people they’re treating.  I HIGHLY recommend anyone to be seen by both of these amazing doctors. You will not find better care than these two women.

Dr. Decotis-Smith was my post partum care doctor (after my doctor was no longer on call). After being allowed to hemorrhage for over 6 hours, she sent me home before I was back to normal blood volume and hemoglobin levels. She told me that giving me another blood transfusion would be a waste of their resources. It was clear to me that she did not care about my health or safety. I was just another paycheck to her.
