I have lived here for 2 1/2 yrs,This Dr Gary Johnson comes up from Bismarck, ND to the Dickinson, ND Clinic only once a month,He has a room he rents in the Dickinson Clinic, What makes me feel like all the so called pain management Dr's don't have what I'm used to having as far as spinal s is they will only give you Cortisone as a spinal,Coming from Florida(I have been in pain management for over 15 yrs)every spinal I had was actually a epidural,Over time Cortisone doesn't work and the one I've had in ND didn't do anything for me as where a epidural works on my back for about 2-3 months and is done by your pain management /Anesthesiologist Dr,Dr Johnson wouldn't give me the shot because I had only been out of the hospital for 6 days, cortisone spinal shots are fine to be Givin in the hospital depending on what you have,He could of Givin me the shot,I also called Dickinson Clinic to make sure that I could get the shot because I have to drive an hour and a half to get to Dickinson Clinic from where I live they said yes come on in,I would of been better off staying in bed at home let alone the gas savings and my husband working that day,Since then I've not been able to get another appt in over a year and a half,I wish that they cared about me like my Pain Management Drs did in Florida, In all the years I've been in Pain Management I haven't had not 1 Dr say anything bad about me,What really makes me made and hurt is I've had internist Drs move and not give me 30 days of medications which puts me in Dickinson ER and try to find another internist Dr to take care of me and was labeled as looking for more pain medication, Which also red flagged me in every Dr's office, Emergency room, and Pharmacy, I have a Internist Dr at Sanford Clinic in Dickinson now thank the lord,But being on Medicaid I end up paying for most of my SSI check, I didn't want to leave Florida but my health reasons I had to get out of a Tropical climate, I love ND I just wish that ND loved me as much as I love it...
